National pride and satisfaction with the country’s direction have been on the decline for decades, and the mood heading into the 250th anniversary is particularly grim. https://cnn.it/4fg3Xxm

For a lot of us this is more of a “celebration of life remembrance” for what used to be “the home of the brave, land of the free, with liberty & justice for all”. And the saddest part? About 1/2 of us voted for the primary driver…

I remember how excited I was for the bicentennial. We went to Liberty State Park for the entire day and saw the tall ships to the Macy's fireworks. Now I am hesitant to acknowledge the date at all thanks to MAGA. What he has done to this country is psychological repression and destruction.

I’m a veteran, fought for my country, served it my whole life and I was cheering for Bosnia yesterday just because I did not want Trump to be able to claim a win. The Republicans having even taken the joy of cheering for our country away from us.

The great civilizations of the world lasted 250 years on average... and here we are with MAGA/GOP making sure we stay on target for our demise. 😠

Speaking about pride

The non-attendance to this event is the most American pride I've felt in a while. Ironic and Sad, yet I get the most Hopeful feeling about the future of this country while looking at this image.
