Wow, I used to live in Utah. This is a big deal. Thanks to the judge for standing up to the worst flavor of Republicans in the country.

Donald Trump is destroying American Familys

This has been a long battle in Utah to preserve independence in redistricting which the Utah GOP has constantly tried to undermine since 2020. Voters approved the independent, but Republicans were not happy they couldn't tip the scales. I think this ruling will succeed through SCOTUS.

Civilised countries have INDEPENDENT boundary commissions so politicians can't fiddle them to benefit themselves. Why the US hasn't got round to this is baffling.
