Not said is that according to the admin's interpretation of the Constitution, these children were not citizens. This story misses the point. Yes, those kids were American citizens. The 14th Amendment. But the point that is overlooked is the 5th Amendment: Those mothers have a right for their cases to be heard by a judge. It was a violation of their Constitutional right simply to deport them.
