It's classic divide and conquer. They think that there are enough people in the queer community who dislike trans people that they can make the queer community fight each other over this. Let's show them how united we are!

I believe people should be who they want to be and do what they want to do as long as it doesn't hurt others. The problem with transgender issues they want to shove them down our throats and I'm getting tired of it. The fact they think it's okay for men to be in women's sports is fucked up.

It's possible the LGBTQ community should have policed itself better when their movement was being hijacked by the issue of trans athletes in women's sports. Instead, transgender people and the entire community will spend years fighting the efforts to rollback their deserved & hard-earned rights.

Good grief. The issue was created and amplified … i.e …hijacked by the jihadic wing of the former Republican Party…not by the people unbothered by an extraordinarily minuscule percentage of trans people who have ever played women’s sports

New to reading? I didn't say LGBTQ people did the hijacking, I said they should have done a better job policing the issue (i.e. protecting their rights) by leaders publicly agreeing that trans athletes should not be in women's sports. It would have defused the whole issue and earned more votes.
