Buy a container for twice the price of what Dollar General sells them for. It's good for economy!!!

all stores where people who aren’t billionaires shop are going to go bankrupt because billionaires won’t stop until they have it all and the rest of us are living in caves

Niche stores like The Container Store will struggle in today's economy. I hope they can figure it out. I used to enjoy wondering through their store.

Went there today. Everything I wanted was well over $200. If I had to guess, over pricing materials will be their demise.

It’s tough to see The Container Store in this position. For a place that helps us keep our lives together, it’s hard to imagine it falling apart. Here’s hoping they can tidy up their finances and come out of this more organized than ever!

Hate to see a business fail but people are downsizing. They need a different direction.

Boring subpar inventory

None of their containers are big enough to stuff fascism inside.

We cleaned out our homes during the pandemic so there's nothing left to store in all those containers.

At least they have all the stuff on hand to pack the stores up and close shop if it comes to that.

IKR. The Container Store is a bit overpriced, but it is the place to go to organize

They are a great place to shop for organizing but they are too expensive. I’ve often found something there, was inspired, but then bought elsewhere bc the prices were substantially lower elsewhere.

Because they were never able to branch into Canada! We like containers too!!!

They are so expensive is the biggest issue. Yes, they have good quality products, but over priced.

Another retailer ruined by private equity (i.e., what we used to call leveraged buyouts in the 80s). Sell a company, saddle it with a ton of debt and the sellers get a huge windfall at the expense of the company’s balance sheet.
