With Tapas going down, we want to compile webcomic sharing sites. Tell us about which ones you use, what you like or dislike from your experience, and observations. Feel free to share your webcomic in the comments! #webcomic #webtoon #tapas #neocities #comicfury #webcomics #comics #makingcomics

There's also Lemoon.io and I believe Manta is going to be opening up an independant section (like webtoon) at somepoint too. I have never used Manta, but it is certainly an pre-established webcomic platform with plenty of readers already there. Lemoon is a very comparable site to Tapas' early days~

Fables.pro is the home of my comic. We have a great community, the site supports traditional, long form and multipage comics. Creators can customize their comic site, set Emoji’s for subscribers to use site wide, we have a bulletin board called Inkscapade, there’s a cast page feature for comics.

fables.proFables - Your Voice, Your Story, Your LegacyStep into a world where your stories reign supreme. Fables is your ultimate destination for comic creation, community building, and brand showcasing. No more juggling platforms - we're your all-in-one...

There’s a library tab that shows you all your subscribed comics in order of most recent updates, the site saves your place on the last page/episode you read, with a continue reading button on comic front page. There’s a banner carousel that promotes every comic on the site-

And when you catch up on a comic there is a cycling list of recommended comics to read next. They are always working on improving the site based on creator suggestions and it’s just a really lovely supportive environment! (We also have a whole site for adult comics too called FablesX!)

As for negatives, we’re still young so the community is still small. We need more steady readership to help the site grow. There are occasional bugs to deal with but we have a bug report button for that and our devs are very quick at fixing any issues that come up.

I post to webtoon and comicfury, and cf is the better one as an indie artist. on wt, I only get viewer spikes on days I post, and those numbers are in the teens. on days I dont post, I'm lucky to get any viewers at all. on cf I will occasionally get random spikes of 100s even on days I dont post

I publish to ComicFury, Ko-Fi, Pixiv, Bluesky, and Art Station. I ended up dropping WebToon due to censorship issues. ComicFury is great, but could stand to be more user friendly in terms of site design. Everything else has been meh.

What kind of creators does it attract? Is it popular with a particular demographic, are there genres or styles that you see more often? Is it easy or difficult to talk to other creators/readers? Do you notice comics get more comments on one site than another?
