Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that apparently AI is going to take all our jobs and yet productivity statistics have been anaemic since before ChatGPT launched in 2022 and haven’t statistically improved at all?

no. I personally think it only matters that businesses believe it. They fire us all, AI fails to deliver and no more business... therefore no more jobs. AI can already emulate human stupidity. A collaboration would be unstoppable.
