No to carpenter bees!

I like anything with antennae and facet eyes

I vote for Bees with ink.

Remember too that Mohammed Ali stung like a bee too!

Here's a bee asleep in pink bottlebrush.

I am owner of 4 insect-hotels and I can say, that I am booked out.

Thank you for posting this! My garden is all about birds, bees and butterflies. Saw the first Baltimore Orioles at the bird feeder yesterday.

I think i have carpenter bees.. either that or contractor bees.

And the rest? What is this? Gilligan's Island? Name the last two pictures! Professor and Maryanne were added, you can add them too.

What? World Bidet?

There is a "weed" that has been targeted as a problem plant, but creeping/field thistle is used by bees to fill in the spring gap for pollen, as well as some birds like finches eating the seeds. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cirsium...

And knitted bees in eggcups!

And my favorite, the boobies!

Kids should get to select a family of insects during biology class, and learn the differences between each. A bit of understanding of how and why we get different species is worth having. Personal favs are the ichneumon wasps.
