I am grumpy that they are setting all this up, but meanwhile last years STOC videos are still not posted anywhere. Taking a policing attitude to the concept of video instead of a communicative one

FWIW, the STOC2026 and STOC2027 PCs are basically disjoint. There is no "they" here in that sense, it's not the same set of people! But yes, this year's video policy is very, very much a reaction to the surge of AI papers. acm-stoc.org/stoc2027/sto...
