Markdown+metadata = flexibility+structure! That's why with our app you can publish .md files directly from your GitHub repo or Obsidian vault without heavy deployment steps. Curious: have you ever tried syncing your Notion workflow with Markdown publishing tools like that?

I haven’t tried any solutions which involve pushing/syncing markdown to third party services.

Was it for privacy reasons?

I also periodically materialize the Markdown in the DB to files in the repo so that I have a durable backup with course grained history in a fully open format. This is a hedge against wanting to drop Notion for something else (Obsidian?)

I have never managed to use Notion effectively, but Obsidian is fitting the bill. I am considering restarting blogging using it!
