If you need AI to plan a child's birthday, you have a problem that AI will not fix

It’s hard to decide what part of this story on Marissa Mayer’s new startup is most loathsome, but this “women need a wife or, in other words, a digital servant” construction makes me want to flip over an actual table www.nytimes.com/2026/10/25/s...

I didn't need AI to write computer software, but now I do it 10x faster with AI. I didn't need AI to run my house, but I do it faster with an Openclaw running in a loop all day. She is the CEO of a major company, I am sure she can do it but she only has so many hours in a day.Why not offload some?

That's kind of a weird question. There isn't enough space here to list everything. I am a dad who takes care of two kids (most important job), and I have a business with several forms of income. It leaves time for all the things I love (unlike my old job). What is the relevance?

If you are suggesting I would be better off writing all that code by hand like I used to, I think that is not correct. Would the client be willing to pay me the same $ for producing 1/10 the code of the other engineers? I think I would simply be fired from the contract if I tried that.
