This is such a cool concept and I'm definitely curious about music and visual art applications. There has to be a way to get this info VCV Rack, MaxMSP, Bitwig, or Pure Data.

getting it into those is totally doable. main question is what do you see that doing? reading out to the DAWs/envs or those generating the code?

I could see it a couple different ways. I'm assuming it would be best for discrete states like toggling something on/off so I would probably use it as a way to send data into something like a Max patch.

The protocol is totally extensible, major issue is gonna be storage versus code size. OSC is also difficult because of encoding (OSC has binary fields, we're currently using base64 set characters to try to save space). But happy to discuss possibilities.
