Hey, it’s Andy (@ay8s.com), iOS Engineer at Buffer 👋 This week, we're discussing the future structure of our Composer on iOS and Android. The Composer is one of the most complex areas of Buffer, it supports every network we offer and has to work seamlessly on a screen that fits in your pocket.

Our Composer lets you quickly share through the Simple Editor, then fine-tune posts per network in the Customizer. We’re now adding Threaded Post support, plus new tools to make writing threads easier: • Drag & drop to reorder threads • Reorder media via drag and drop

Beyond that, we’re exploring ways to help you focus purely on writing before filling in the details. Think: collapsible fields or a mode that lets you focus entirely on your text, no distractions until you’re ready.
