Andy here 👋 This week, I started dusting off our iOS Composer Rewrite project. The very first task was bringing the interface up to date with Liquid Glass and our new Visual Refresh, so it feels right at home with the rest of the app.

One of the most exciting parts: we’re adding long-awaited support for posting threaded posts from the app. You’ll also find a suite of tools to make writing threads easier, like the ability to drag and drop posts/media.

Behind the scenes, we’re also shifting from our REST API to GraphQL. This change won’t be as noticeable day-to-day, but it unlocks big wins for the future: Just like our move to Swift and SwiftUI, this is about building a foundation that lets us move faster and deliver more for you. 🚀

If you'd like to be one of the first to try out our new Composer we'll be sharing it via our TestFlight beta in the next couple of months. You can join our TestFlight and try out upcoming features here: buff.ly/mb8nioY

I’ll be at the GraphQL Summit next week in San Francisco. Looking forward to hearing how other teams are using GraphQL, and to learning about the latest tooling updates that could shape where we go next.
