That's awesome. Have to admit I'm a big fan of pipes, but this might be easier to introduce to my team. Also, absolutely love that you're intentionally staying away from the jargon- I fell in love with FP thanks to Elixir, and if it had any jargon I would've bounced off.

yeah, pipes are good on paper, but in the current JS/TS tooling it hurts autocompletion. (we’ll consider providing it as an alternative API if github.com/tc39/proposa... lands at some point)

Hurts autocompletion? How so? My issue in the current tooling is that it requires multiple steps to see what type you have on a given line, and can make half your screen turn red when you mess up a type.

with chaining, each value comes with its available functions as they belong in the prototype, with pipes you have to open a pipe, then import the module, then start typing
