According to the Israelis, so they can’t grow up and make new Palestinians. I think they forgot Nietzsche’s warning that when you look into abyss, the abyss looks into you. Which means be careful when fighting evil that you yourself don’t become evil in the process.

Thanks. This sort of strategy is far from far-sighted. Israel had a chance, after the heinous terrorist attack of October 7th, to show the world they behave differently. Actually, they are responding with terrorist attacks to civilians. Israel will never be a safe place, but I guess they don't care.

War is terrible. This war is not special in that way. I feel terrible about the civilian victims. It is terrible that Hamas hides behind civilians. I see too little condemnation of this war crime in the West. Gazans who demonstrate against Hamas are being killed. The West is so ignorant... Sad.
