Was gutted when I read the news this morning. Sent me down a YouTube (pardon the obscure-but-unavoidable pun) rabbithole digging into Sam's struggle with his talent and legacy. THE MAXX meant a lot to me. Folks who've read my last novel may remember it's one of the comics that gets name checked:
