Malinois are known for being incredibly intelligent. It's why they are very popular military dogs. It takes a lot of attention to keep them interested and occupied so they don't find trouble to get into on their own.

hmm? Looks very impressive but I'm thinking maybe the voice commands were added AFTER the video was taken. If you pay careful attn, very often the dog is already doing the "thing" half a beat BEFORE the command is spoken. Or, maybe dogs are better mind readers than we think? ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don't think it's AI. AI is really bad about keeping track of little things (like the tools laying on the floor) when the camera pans away and then back. Here all the extra in the room stay in place when the camera pans away and back. I think the video is real but the commands are over-dubbed.

Beside the American voiceover using non- American terms, there are other clues. There are floating pixel screen glitches throughout. The dog's sightline is FIXED; he looks PAST his handler. The vid is from pawmasteryai.com (last 2 letters "AI"). It's a scam site selling "how to" dog training vids. ๐Ÿ˜‘

I pity all those suspecting poor creatures, yelling AI all the time. The delusion is in their head and made by indeed AI producers, liars, politicians and their mouthpieces: reporters on telly. But the real world does exist and it is still much bigger then the AI world. And this dog looks just fine.

It IS AI. The dog's eyes line of vision never changes & its movements are unnatural. There's an American voiceover, but Americans don't say "spanner". There are multiple floating pixel glitches in the center of the screen. This comes from pawmasteryai.com. (Notice the last 2 letters are "AI").

Sure, dogs can be trained this well - especially breeds like this Malinois. Here๐Ÿ‘‡ are 3 more VERSIONS of the SAME AI vid. Floor objects are different, room is inverted, dog is wearing a scarf, etc. m.youtube.com/shorts/KGEgq... www.snapchat.com/@bigyoms/spo... www.instagram.com/reel/DYFvlJk...

What does that even mean? Leave him bored in a yard barking and digging holes? Malinois are highly intelligent, bred to be active and interactive. These tricks mean many, many hours of attention and the interaction he craves. He's obviously enjoying himself. Let him be the dog he was bred to be!

Itโ€™s not about getting the dogs to do things for you, but enrichment for the dog. One of my brothers has two rescue dogs that were abused. He does scent track training with them, and the calm orders and reward for success has done wonders in building their confidence and reducing their anxiety.

Sorry to piss in your party but how does learning and obedience relate to intelligence? Dogs want to please the owner, wouldn't it be "smarter" to say "do it yourself"? Just asking ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I've taken care of a horse which was... slightly clumsy. Not malicious but could walk over humans "just by accident" when was a foal and trained to handle. I wouldn't call her dumb but she didn't have all indians in the canoe. Science and we people can't explain many things, yet those exist.

These dogs do both. Such as figuring out how to get from point a to point b around obstacles. Such as assessing a situation as threat no threat (but that is also taught as well as innate judgment) , These are shepherds and focus intently on owner cues. Thatโ€™s instinctive. Not a negative.
