I try and avoid political posts because… well… *gestures*, but I am *still* seeing posts from Americans talking about stuff that the “next president” will have to clean up after “the next election” and it blows my mind that even despite… well… *gestures*, they still think there’ll be one.

Right. Exactly. Even if we do overthrow the Piggy Regime, if it's not already too late, the real President we elect in his place will need decades to fix the damage already done. But if we don't take action now, there won't be an election in 2028, and there probably won't be a 2028 at all.
