Lived with mold in my bedroom for 5 years while fighting with my landlord because they denied the existence. Slept on my couch for 3-4 years. Put all my stuff in trash bags to protect it. Still can't stand the smell of lavender because all of my anti mold cleaning products had that scent

Started as a funny piece as haha "the mold is talking" but as I painted it ended up being a serious piece about living in a toxic environment
