It's an experiment I made for fun, so expect rough edges. • Nuxt and Nuxt UI for the app • three.js via TresJS for the 3D • Nitro v3 for WebSockets in beta on Vercel Functions • Upstash Redis to keep the world • AI SDK and AI Gateway for the Oracle github.com/benjamincana...

WS on Vercel Functions used to mean fighting the max execution duration once anyone stayed connected. if Nitro v3 handles reconnects and keep-alive cleanly that's a real unlock, did you hit the duration wall on longer sessions or is Upstash doing the heavy lifting there?

One persistent world per region, Europe, the US and Asia. The town is protected, everything outside the walls is yours. Raise the land, dig it, flatten it, paint it, then build with walls, floors, roofs and stairs. Claim a plot so nobody touches your house.

Proximity voice chat (chromium only for now). Walk up to someone and talk. Hold T and your speech is transcribed through the AI Gateway straight into the chat, so the Oracle hears you too. Every other sound is synthesized in the browser, no audio files in the repo.
