*Money is full of oil and dirt and grime. Do not actually taste it. It tastes quite bad, and the mouthfeel is miserable. The trick is to knock it back and swallow it down quickly before the sensation can hit your palette.**

My favorite "industry" term working corporate creative at a fast food chain is "mouthfeel." Sounds gross but makes sense when you're grading food. My most missed mouthfeel, the icy layer on the defunct Jell-O Pudding Pop. Fun fact: They tried to get rid of that icy layer but realized we loved it.

I do enjoy that the word mouthfeel itself has such a distinct (and I would argue pleasurable) mouthfeel. A sort of textural onomatopoeia. A rheological reflexiveness.

**Do not actually eat money (or do; I'm not your boss--and even then, your boss can't control what you do with your money). Instead, exchange it for wonderful independent comics about the systemic forces that govern our lives and the people trapped beneath them. www.kickstarter.com/projects/art...

This is just to say I have eaten the money that was pledged to the Kickstarter and which you were probably hoping would make books Forgive me It was grimy and dirty with terrible mouthfeel
