i know we've been complaining that the industry has stopped trying new things but folding phones are just such an obviously insane idea

like it could be fine if you just had two separate screens and treated them like pages instead of trying to have one unified foldable screen, but that would require Software, and obviously we don't do that anymore

That's an idea I am working on in the background. What if i had an old style filofax type case with a ring binder with 4 or 5 screens in it like leaves? software to allow them to display different parts of a document (think reading tech books) or just agenda on one calendar on another.
