That’s a good way to put it, I usually just call it foreshadowing but that calls out the chatter for thinking they’re slick lmao

I probably had a few "here we go" moments in my early active twitch chat days, but never for heavy emotional scenes. Usually it was for giant exposition dumps or a bossfight. Nowadays, I'm quiet, but honestly, you just gotta read the room. One can usually tell if that kind of thing is welcome or not

Also I’ve come to the conclusion whenever I know I’m getting to a good story bit/ending, chat is going into emote only idgaf

Then they get upset at mods “that wasn’t a spoiler” like … yes you’re foreshadowing something is GOING to happen
