Follow up question: Is it realistic to plan to hop on any train from Thought Bubble to London on Sunday evening without booking ahead? Or are they all usually fully booked until the wee hours?

Thought Bubble veterans: Break down time on Sunday is 17:10-18:30. Assuming we don't have a wild amount of stock to pack or an overly complex table setup, is it safe to book a train for 18:35 or am I being crazy optimistic?

I'd book ahead either way, but I've never found them to be chaotically crowded (like before and after Christmas - yikes!). However you want to maybe book for 7ish. I've found its nice to not feel rushed and you can say goodbye to everyone and maybe grab a snack etc.

Yeah, I was eyeing that 6:35 just because it's direct to London with no changes, but I understand it's too tight.

You'll probably be fine, I checked last year and I got the 18.54 train to London via Leeds. I had time for a pint with a friend before the train so 18.35 and no pint is definitely doable.
