been a 1Password user since 2011, but they just emailed to say they’re raising the yearly subscription price (which I already resented) by *33%* to pay for things like “AI-powered item naming”. cheers, but I’m good. I’ll write this stuff down on a piece of paper if I have to.

I've never used 1Password, and I'm not sure what you get with the paid subscription, but the free tier of Bitwarden meets all my needs (generate, save, autofill, passkey) and it was easy when I switched from LastPass to export/import my full safe of password. I'm on Windows/Linux/Android

Waiting on their native passkey support on Windows to go out of beta before considering it tbh. It's so convenient and useful (and the Linux desktop really needs to start supporting it too tbh)
