Today is International Women's Day. If you live in the same dystopian late stage crapitalist hellscape I do, you've probably witnessed the erosion of women's rights since the orange shitler has taken power. 1/x

It's been both policy and culture. They took away reproductive autonomy by reversing Roe v Wade. Now access to abortion is dependent on the state you live in. Some states won't even allow a person to terminate a pregnancy due to r*p3. 2/x

They're pushing voter ID that will place an extra burden on married women that have changed their last name but married men who typically don't change their name will not have this burden. But this will also effect anyone that has a name that's different from what they were born with. 3/x

Culturally, having a p3d0 r*p1$t in office has resulted in his cult making misogynistic content and it's creators more mainstream and defacto acceptable. The progress we saw with millennials rejecting patriarchal order of women needing to be deferential to men is walking backward. 4/x

Bathroom policing will result in butch and masc looking women facing the same violence. The fear mongering around trans athletes is creating a push for genital inspections of kids playing sports. 6/x
