Working on Hetric, a hexadecimal metric system Similarly to SI, Hetric has seven base dimensions and, therefore, seven base units: time in ticks (t), length in spans (sp), mass in gravs (gv), temperature in therms (th), current in unes (U), angle in zawia (zw), and luminous intensity in lee (Le).

The tick, the base unit of time, is defined in the same way as the second: the unperturbed ground-state hyperfine transition of Cs-133 is equal to 16^8 tak (tk) (where 1 tak is t^-1 or 1/t). This means that 1 t ≈ 0.4672184640 s.

The span, the base unit of length, is defined such that the speed of light in a vacuum, c, is 16^7 sp/t exactly, making 1 sp ≈ 0.5217960915 m. The grav, the base unit of mass, is defined such that the Planck constant h = 16^-25 gv⋅sp^2/t, making 1 gv ≈ 1.441364926 g.

The therm, the base unit of termperature, is defined such that the Boltzmann constant k = 16^-17 gv⋅sp^2 / t^2⋅th, making 1 th ≈ 2.266665264 K. The une, the base unit of electric current, is defined such that the elementary charge e = 16^-15 kf (1 kifi = U⋅t), making 1 U ≈ 0.3953576405 A.

The zawia, the base unit of angle, has the exact same definition as the radian but is treated as a base dimension instead of some dimensionless unit, meaning 1 zw = 1 rad by definition. The lee, the base unit of luminous intensity, is still being defined :3

Will post more Hetric nonsense as I figure out more of it :3 As a note: any units with seemingly nonsensical names are derived from me... basically chucking words into Google Translate, finding words I like, and truncating them if necessary so they're usable as units :3
