Does that include users that are created and federated on Personal Data Servers? Or just bsky proper? (Either way, it's amazing.)

I only ask because I just created my own PDS for the first time on @digitalocean, and it costs $6/month. It took me 10 minutes to set up, and 9 of those were waiting for DNS to propogate. :)

If your PDS is being crawled by the relay then it should be counted

The count from my stats site has historically been just users on Bluesky-operated PDSs because we use it to capacity plan when we need to provision new PDSs lol...
