We aren't playing like champions, let's be honest. But we did what we needed which was win. I'm really concerned with our midfields inability to move the ball forward. Both rice and Zubi haven't been able to do it for months now. Saka gives us such a lift because, Noni....if I speak...

A few players have acted like they got the schoolboy panic once the ball dropped to them and they had an opening (Rice, Gyokeres, Havertz). Nerves. 3-0 up and they all would've smashed those chances. Self fulfilling prophecy of trying not to be the guy that screws up the game.

We’re not winning the league playing football like that. I really thought Mikel Arteta would throw the shackles off given this race could come down to goal difference. This low margin football will ultimately cost us

I keep thinking at some point the pain of watching this team labour through a football match will ease. It just gets worse 😆…..cannot believe how shambolic a set of forwards are in Gyokeres, Madueke and Martinelli. That Gyokeres ‘pass’ near the end. Shocking. A win’s a win at this stage I guess

I’ve counted around 8 enjoyable games this season including European matches. Absolutely ridiculous when we still have a (very slim) chance of two major trophies. Perhaps this League really isn’t as good as it thinks. A better team than Newcastle would have got something today

I mean yeah that genuinely might not be enough, but we all know playing that kinda football we aren’t always going to be able to scrape the win, especially if Eze is now out.

Winning 1-0 every game may not will not be enough. If City win all there games and we win ours it will come down to GD or even goals scored. I suspect City have more goals in them than we do. We really need to give West Ham and Burnley a good humping, 5 or 6 nil should do it. May save Spurs though.

I'd say terrible is a bit harsh. It just looked disjointed with some very good bits in between. Massive positive to win but the added positive of having Saka back is far outweighed by Havertz and Eze going off injured. Will the first choice attack ever play together?!

Question for Monday - is there a denial of “serious” responsibility from the players. They were fine at doing the usual, but when it came to stepping up? Being the guy to take the shot or make the tricky pass? They all deferred. (Eze aside)

This is the best defence of my lifetime supporting Arsenal (I was too young to appreciate the 05/06 CL run) and this is not enjoyable. Although this team’s attack is far more frustrating than the defence.

In the prime 1-0 era (when we started the song) we were a cup team. Back in 91 when we only conceded 18 goals and won the league it wasn't this stressful, but was a completely different incomparable time

Thank goodness that is over. Back on top but will need to be much better against Fulham next weekend if that lead is to go to six points.

We did not play terribly. The first official acquitted himself rather poorly but we played well and should probably have had another goal for our trouble, maybe two. I am begging you and all Arsenal supporters to smoke a joint and RELAX. We've got this. We Gooners are weirdly bad at taking the W.

It was the third time they tried that routine i groaned too lets be real. They were brilliant towards the end when team needed a boost. Saka coming on helped.

Excruciating watch. The sheer number of god-awful choices on the ball is unbelievable. Good grief, I lost my voice shouting at the TV. Think winning on GD is out of the question based on this performance.

Tactical masterminds in the crowd be like - Why are we taking short corners?? - WHYY are we taking short corners ?? - WHYYY!! are we taking a short ......EZA scores!

How did we ever get this bad at football? Zero cohesion, zero conviction, no sense of ability to do anything. I'm so bummed! We can't score more than one goal in about 7 games now.

He sounds like a bloke in a pub three pints in after his wife’s just left him. Moaning constantly about Arsenal not doing the right thing, whatever they do.

We don't have the same 11 in two consecutive game, how can we expect a cohesive performance. Keeping injury prone players in not sustainable (or whatever reason it is we have so many injuries)

An early #arsecastextra question. What gutteral noise did you make when Gyokeres messed up that counter attack? The rage that surged through my blood....

What a weird feeling. Happiness and relief that we got the win. But the goal difference factor makes it feel like a slight disappointment. This team lads 😮‍💨

The mentality of this team is so poor. Play like kings, score a great goal, then Kai gets injured, and it's panic stations all around. Play some good footy, Newcastle has a good chance, back to hoofing it up to nobody. Eze gets injured, heads drop. Saka comes on, we're flying again. And so on.

This team needs reminding that they've been the most consistent team in England for four seasons, and one of the best teams in the Champions League for almost as long. Stop playing Spursy like at the first sign of pressure, just do what we all know you're capable of. Sort. It. Out.
