Post

As half my timeline is currently posting from #reinvent, please allow me to rant about a topic I care deeply about: swag. Taking a male cut t-shirt, changing nothing about it other than maybe printing a few extra XS sizes, and calling it “unisex” is not, in fact, unisex.

Why should I walk around advertising your brand/startup if you can’t be bothered to put your logo on a piece of clothing that actually fits my body? (And yes, that goes for “one size” socks too)

I get that tech conferences are still largely male-dominated affairs. It’s ok to print fewer feminine cut shirts. But not having any at your booth is cheap and lazy. And if you’re cheap and lazy about your swag, what else are you cheap and lazy about in your software?
