There *are* other EV manufacturers. They just don't have the same market share or advertising budget. Then again, they don't build ugly trucks that look like turds crapped out by giant space aliens, so they're even.

These seem like extremely important points. Every user, every usage, becomes data, numbers, to value the “brand,” to charge advertiser (companies and people should…stop advertising there too). If every actual human being left there, it would collapse, a little digital ash heap.

I don't know how state this clearly enough, but none of that is true. These terrible misconceptions played into the complete failure of that strategy.
