Before switching to Mac in 2007 (when joining frog), I was still using Edit+ on Windows XP and the toolbars were still atrocious.

I, too, used EditPlus back in the Windows XP days. The killer feature was writing files directly to a remote server via FTP back when I thought that was a reasonable way to do web development.

When I worked at Hitachi, we all did live SFTP editing on a dev server and manually copied the files to production, also using SFTP. Good times! I do still find myself wanting to do that with VS Code today and getting annoyed when it doesn't work, so I just edit through Transmit.
