It also seems redundant. You already have to present your state ID or driver's license when you go to vote. why do they also need extra paperwork and a blood sample?

The whole Real ID sham didn't work well enough to suppress votes, so they're adding more requirements. It's also the point of the SAVE Act, which will hopefully never pass.
