Always a weird experience on reddit when i reply in kind to assholes rude to me and i get downvoted. Guess the crowd wants people to be a punching bag. Then again, i highly distrust the “average OSR guy on reddit”s opinion, so no big deal either way.

I think you misinterpreted my tone on the reddit comment in question. I meant it in a good-hearted way--encouraging, complimentary to the good people who put it up as PWYW. Tone is hard on the internet. I apologize that it came across wrongly.

Thanks for the clarification (and apology accepted). As a poor person, I’m just not the best recipient for spending advice. My frustration was more towards the faceless masses, anyways.
