Hell, some of my complaints about the prequels haven’t held up - most specifically the “it’s unrealistic that Anakin would turn so bad on such flimsy & obvious grooming” but certainly not limited to that!

You know, my complaints was less about them doing the same thing in a blind adoration of their "mythologic" past, but more the blown-out logistic behind it making it completely stupid, as well the finances because how. I guess that now I know...

This reminds me when I played Mass Effect again post-covid, for years and years I thought that it was absolutely stupid that someone clearly providing information about a VERY BAD THING being ignored by everyone in charge was unrealistic. Welp.

Somehow Trump returned.

All jokes aside....even if they did mean to do this on purpose....Oh wow great message/commentary. It only costed ruining the fun escapism Star Wars once had. Cause that's what I want from my fun science fiction series a constant reminder of how much real life sucks.
