To be fair, hasn't industry drafted legislation for decades? I'm not defending the scope and depth of President Trump's grifting; I'm just saying that some of it seems to be built on taking past practices to their illogical extreme.

The Bush II admin did the same f*ing thing: they let the oil lobbyists write the legislation.

Wrote the law on the company payroll, got the CEO chair when it passed. Corruption doesn't even bother with envelopes anymore. It just prints stock options.

Gonna need many more jails to hold all the republicans, who should be doing 10-15 years, at the very least. Many are certainly guilty of treason. 20 years. Life sentence. Look it up, death sentence is not out of the question for treason in this world. At least, they should not feel comfortable.
