Post

Hey everyone, happy Sunday. Are you ready for some good news? In honor of September being Hunger Action Month, today I wrote on my Substack about two kids in South Florida who have made it their mission to innovate new ways to solve food insecurity in their communities. Link below!

The science of biology makes this point clearly: diversity has a higher survival potential than homogeneity. Despite this, human organization tends in the opposite direction. Are we therefore inherently self-destructive because we lack the will and ability to cultivate and maintain diversity?

This is great, and I'm impressed by the empathy and initiative of these two kids. At the same time, I'm reminded of the story of the orphan-crushing machine. Teenagers shouldn't be trying to solve food insecurity. This story highlights the failures of the American people and Congress they elect.

Thank you, Aashrita & Anish, for helping your fellow man! You are doing what all Americans should be doing, helping one another. There is goodness in the world! Thank you for showing & reminding us of what that is & looks like.
