Trump didn’t make the Covid vaccine. Scientists did. He used our tax $ to incentivize pharma companies to speed the process. Promoting the covid vaccine and streamlining the regulatory process is the only good thing Trump did regarding the pandemic. Downplaying the seriousness of the outbreak early on and discouraging masking, however, did irreparable harm. I remember him stating early on that it was all going to go away.

Ironically, Operation Warp Speed was the one thing Trump did right during covid. Then he turned around and politicized it, further dividing the country when the crisis should have been bringing people together. And the rest is history when people started refusing the vaccine and dying of the virus.
