I do believe everyone is probably safer with fewer flights right now. But I think it’s been proven they don’t want the people safe. Every single day they attack us…our health, our food, our freedom, our prosperity.

I don't think it's a stunt – air traffic controllers were already overworked. Now they are unpaid. Some are probably really stressing about that. If that means they can't focus, they should be calling out. All of that means that the FAA doesn't have the resources to handle the traffic.

Disagree! It is a way to save ATC personnel from making deadly mistakes and/or saving them from burnout. Remember that it takes 1 yr (or so) to train ATC & not everyone can even learn how. It is a very specialized skill.

My direct flight to West Palm from Philly got rerouted through…Chicago. Two hour delay here. Thanksgiving will be hell if they continue this BS. American Airlines staff helpless. TSA stressed. I don’t even want to know what’s going on in the Control Tower. Airlines should privatize controllers.
