It's a story, Adam. A fairy tale. We need to stop lying to children about the non-existence of god. They are literally believing in magic more than science. China is going to clean our clock using science while we fiddle-fart around with useless religion, waiting for our "savior" to come back.

How does stripping food and medicine from people living in poverty and war torn countries represent anything that Christianity allegedly represents. The key word is "allegedly".

It never made sense to me Adam, ethically. The all powerful God is unable to forgive without shed blood, perfect shed blood. So torture and kill an innocent man in order to forgive the world for essentially being born human, with all our faults an failings, desgined by that same creator God.

I have no problem with folks sharing their religious beliefs and well wishes. Elected officials should learn some manners and show some respect as "leaders". Leadership is sorely lacking but I miss that Americans were greatly concerned about voting for Kennedy because of his Catholicism.

I agree with the sentiment, but the idea that Easter offers truth of any kind requires fanciful thinking.

My view of religion starts and ends with the 10 Commandments.

Many gentiles can find meaning in the Old Testament and Jesus’s orig teachings. Perhaps if the hated-filled MAGA “Christians” would read and re-read them—like love thy neighbor, do unto others, etc— that would be an encouraging start for their redemption.

Every one of my friends hopes and prays that other countries help with this effort, by doing exactly that - boycott everything American, especially if it comes from a "red" area or trump supporting business. We need them to feel it and understand that they're responsible.

This is what I'm hanging on to during this very trying time. It's hard to find the positives in all the chaos around us. I'm 70 and not sure I'll see this righted in my lifetime. Very sad!

That's the message every religion brings us. And it's an important one.
