Trump 1 was a disaster, so the pendulum swung back to Biden and the institutionalism he represented. And MAGA-oriented people HATED it.

MAGA has a strong preference for personal leadership and idolizes people who exert personal control. This is why MAGA and the billionaire class are so cozy.

This is also why Biden was so despised. He was the opposite of visible, personal leadership.
